Andy Townsend
Andy started his career working at several Seattle bike shops before moving in house as a sales rep at Seattle Bike Supply. Andy eventually started his own bike shop in downtown Seattle, further honing his intimate bicycle knowledge, before selling the retail store after ten years in business. After leaving the retail space, and before co-founding New Pedal, Andy oversaw operations at Ridpeanda where he designed and facilitated the day to day initiatives of running employer backed micromobility programs, working closely with employees looking for their next two-wheeled ride.
Ben Luster
Ben began his micromobility journey in 2007 while working at a local bike shop. He pushed further into the industry by becoming an outside sales rep and working with bike retailers throughout Michigan. After several years on the road, he moved in-house at accessory company Serfas, where he oversaw three US regions. Ben eventually joined the founding team at Benno Bikes were he setup global distribution, educated local retailers, managed testing and certification, and assisted with shipping and logistics. Prior to co-founding New Pedal, Ben was the head of corporate development at Ridepanda, and was charged with setting up and launching employer based ebike incentives.
